Anyone use this Follow Focus and Rig off Ebay?

Yeah, i have one
I used it a couple of weekends ago allong with a RedRock model that was rented with a package. as far as performance goes they were on par. the advantage of the redrock was how easy it was to take it off and put it back on when swapping lenses and the like. The lens gear it came with is actually really nice. I found it a good bit longer than i needed for any of my lenses so i put it on my longest lens and then cut it down (removing about 2 inches of it) otherwise when i put it on smaller lenses (like older 50mms and such) the excess flexible gear would have gotten in the way. For me i found it a great solution, i would never pay the prices that redrock was charging for their FF which had just as much plan in the gear (about 1-2 degrees). My biggest gripe (which also goes for the RR model) is that i had to modify my rail system to allow this to work with my battery grip. If you dont have a grip then it doesnt matter. Neither of the models have any vertical adjustment.

Im a big fan for the price i would call it a great tool in my bag.

Here is another option that i would have bought but it wasnt available yet. It looks like it may work better with a battery grip.
