Anyone tried the Panasonic 3D lens??

It sure is inexpensive. I do a lot of aerial cinematography from an rc heli and it being 12 mm is perfect for that. And flying around in 3D is just about the coolest thing to me.
The drawback I see is that it's a fixed inter ocular. I don't know exactly what effect that would have.
Anyone have any experiences to share?
