GH4 anyone test digital 2x 4x zoom yet?

is ti clean or digital garbled? other dslr's handle it well some times... just want to keep image as CLEAN as possible in 4k. thanks!

Well, 2x is not horrendous... but in any situation I would say you're better off shooting 1080p ETC and sticking with that. Try to crop in in post if for some reason you needed even more reach. Or buy a longer lens... =D

In unscripted interviews it can be real hard to switch lenses or settings while you are shooting. I almost get paranoid and don't want to touch the camera because when you do it seems like the person says that one thing that is golden…..
I shoot most interviews with 2 GH2's. One tight and one wide. Sure it can be overkill but the results are worth it. Plus it makes it a lot easier to cut. With the ability of 4K you could shoot wide and then punch in on the edit in post.
I would think that yes zooming in on a 4K frame would be a little noticeable.
