GH4 anyone recording 10-bit compare to 8-bit?

Anyone out there recording the 10-bit 4k? compared it to the 8-bit? Is it really worth $2000 for the extra colors?

I saw the youtube showing it, but wondered what users here thought?

I'm aware color grading would be cleaner and easier, but am really impressed with the GH4 8-bit as is. Was planning to get the showgun, but now not so sure.
 
could you share the youtube link to this vid you saw recording 10bit from the gh4?

The benefits of 10bit can only be seen once you try to push the grade a bit. As it is, you really can't swing it around aggressively.
 
If I didn't already have an extra monitor, the Shogun would be an easier decision.

In addition to standing up to more robust grading, recording directly to a less compressed, more edit friendly (Prores) codec is another advantage. Assuming you have sufficient storage.
