Anyone matched a 550d and a panasonic gh1?

I want to use both a gh1 and a 550d on a project. I'm using the nostalgic mode on the GH1 for flat settings and I thought about dialing all of the canon options, sharpness, saturation, color tone etc to the left so I could get the flattest picture, hopefully matching them sucessfully in post. Has anyone matched the two? if so, what settings did you use?

I shot this 1080/24p audio how-to with a T2i (550D) and a GH2 (please ignore the content, I didn't do a great job of matching the audio levels -- but the images are pretty consistent, in my view).

The GH settings were Nostalgic color, set to -2 on both contrast and sharpness. Everything else is straight out of the camera with no flattening on the Canon and no post, so I think you'll be OK with standard settings on your 550D.

If you want to make your Panasonic video a little more like Canon's, instead of vice-versa, Andrew Reid at eoshd.com has some slightly different suggested settings for your GH.

Hope this is helpful.
