I'm beginning to edit some DVCPRO HD 720pn on my final cut pro version 5.1 . I'm editing a short film, which has about 30 different clips that I'm editing from. When I import the clips, and don't add anything into the timeline, close it, and re-open it again, it works fine. However, once I start editing a bit in the timeline, say about 2-3 minutes worth of footage, and then I close the project, and re-open it again, the project is about 50% loaded and than Final Cut just shuts off and says an error has occured. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen? I'm running a G4 Powerbook with a 1.67Ghz proccesor and 1.5GB of SDRAM. Any help would be appreciated thank-you.
