anyone going to Sundance this year?

Went to Slamdance HQ tonight and picked up our badges. Had a beer with some of the team there. Made new friends. The lights along main street are going to look amazing in these video pieces we're doing.

Awee hey guys thanks for the mention and support - me and Sarah have been working hard on it and Joseph is an awesome chap to work with! Is totally for the art :)

Good time today at the Summit. Not sure what the end result was, but the Slamdance folks seemed committed to embracing some new models for helping filmmakers get seen. Thanks to Zak, SABI KREW, Saskia, Lance, et al who put it together. Also got to a really good transmedia panel at Sundance.

Saw Stifler. And Warren from Buffy was in a band at the slamdance party last night. Those two sightings alone make the whole trip worth it.

P.S. - Whoever had the idea of mixing the free vodka with the peach smoothie and cranberry juice in the blogger's lounge, keep them far away from a bartending job...

Also, here is SABI'S first video from the summit discussions, now live: This was kind of the whole point of this thing. Zak and crew burned the midnight oil to get this stuff together.

Great time tonight at the indieflix party, the slamdance sled-off and hot tub party, and at the screenings today. Saw two amazing shorts this morning. Also met lots of great people in that world, the slamdance founders, saskia wilson-brown, lance weiler, Scilla Andreen. Really great to get face to face with people I've met on the web. Got to share a lot of ideas about our film and our transmedia efforts.

Also, ran into DEMO tonight at the indieflix party, but he didn't stay long. That man is a party machine. I lost count of the events he hit while there. I need him to be my agent!!!! But I was very glad I got to see him. I'd missed him the whole time there.

And of course thanks to Zak, Jamie, and Kevin for letting me be the official SABI groupie, and get into things with their all-access passes...:)

Good trip. Home tomorrow night for a full-on push into Feb for upcoming LOST CHILDREN shoot dates!

Ha, just saw this, It was good running into you too and I look forward to hearing more about the stuff you told me about. Glad it was a productive trip for you and sorry I couldn't hang longer. Park City really is an amazing place that week and I recommend it for anyone with a project that they are ready to talk about. The network you can build off the experience really is unrivaled.

Zak, I may be hitting SXSW, hope to see you there.
