Anyone get an iPAd yet?

See, this constant new-stuff-out-tomorrow, endless updating and planned obsolescence is why I stick with my ENIAC.

On a totally unrelated subject...does anyone know a good discount source for vacuum tubes...?

Yea, sorry if I called it a 4G, it's an iPhone 4 HD. Habbit after seeing all the media call it 4G for the last few months.

A day without ChipG posting something Apple-related is like a day without sunshine. :D

It's really hard for me post about Apple, I never thought I'd ever post anything about an Apple product that wasn't negative. I'm a PC guy but I have to buy an iMac soon for work related stuff and have to say they are also really sweet!

The iPad is the first Apple product I have ever bought since Apple was founded way back in the late 70's or early eighties.

They are really getting their act together and I'm impressed finally after 30 years.

Get this, my PC desktop keyboard works on the iPAd, I plug it into the optional $29 usb adapter, I get an error message but if you ignore it it works great. I'll be testing out other usb devices on it soon using the usb iPad adapter.

I have also been printing from it with my wifi printer with really good results.

I just molested one at the store...I get it...Has that must have quality to it once you actually fondle one...Oh, I'm talking about the Ipad.

I played with an iPad at the store, too. Meh. Would make a good hand prop on sci-fi shows, that's for sure...

i finally watched the wwdc thing, funny when he was saying that the iphone had 78% i think of the ipad resolution, he was expecting a good reaction from people, people minds were like, you just introduced the ipad dip ****, it's not like the ipad was released 12 month ago or something, it was still new to people.

i did not get the farming game thing, why was that important, or popular. it's not like it was taking advantage of the touch screen, or the processing power, or had good graphics. and why the hell would a game wake people in the middle of the night. that's just insane.

also the netflix app was already introduced for the ipad, they could not find something a bit more innovative made from independent developers or something.

i did like the part were he told people to turn off there wifi.

thats att&t's deal. not apples.

i havent figured out why Apple hasnt dumped AT&T yet.... so weird.

I thought Apple was locked in to AT&T for another year or so?

And I must say I've resisted the iPhone and other Apple products quite well up until this point (I've got an old ipod, but don't use it all that much). The iPad though has peaked my interest. I've been in the market for a netbook for checking email and as a digital portfolio. The iPad just may be the one to fill that void in my life...
