Yes, I do like it very much, but I have had very little experience in video heads, although much on stills heads etc. I previously had the Manfrotto 701 head for video and the Libec is just light years ahead of it in terms of smoothness and capability. Hope this helps.
Said it before but can repeat myself. I've had the kid brother of L22, TH-M20 for ten years or so (under the model name Heiwa TH-650) and it's been banged around quite a bit without any particular care and still performs as new. In fact the GH1 is bit too light for it so when I added a rod rig it actually got smoother in pans and tilts.
I'm certainly no Manfrotto fan boy, but let's be fair - when you talk about a night and day difference, that also applies to the old 701 versus the new 701 HDV.
I was seriously considering the Libec H22 until I saw the B&H spec that listed it as 7 lbs (head only).

Not sure it is true though (was my issue too). But if you look at the whole tripod/head combo weight I doubt is the right weight info.

I bought the 701HDV and not impressed. Tilt is better than pan.
Anybody in the Bay Area that could show me a H22 head? The main dealer here inPalo Alto does not carry Libec.
I thought tripods/heads are important for stills. Nothing compared to video. The head (and my skills) is so crucial. Also with light cameras it may even be more problematic.
