Anybody want to sell/rent their boompole that's collecting dust?

I am shooting a movie over weekends for six months. I would like to rent/buy a cheap boompole (and really any other audio equipment). Any offers? I'm in L.A.
 
A friend of mine does sound and mentioned to me something about an old boom pole with some kind of stand wondering if I wanted it. This was a few months ago, he said it was pretty old, and I wasn't interested at the time anyway. I could hit him up tomorrow about it if you are interested, this is up north a few hours in the Bay Area.
