Anybody use Rainbow TV Zoom leneses with GH1/GH2?

Found this 8mm-48mm f/ 1.0 zoom lens on Ebay and to say the least, it intrigues me....

It's a little too expensive to buy on a lark but really cheap if it's reasonably sharp. Just curious if anybody has taken the plunge and gotten one of these and what the video looks from these wide open. Thanks!

This is cheaper item - http://cgi.ebay.ca/JAI-CV-M10RS-W-COSMICAR-PENTAX-8-48mm-1-1-0-TV-LENS-/230491544584

And normal price is around $100-180
If you are on ebay your best friend is patience!

That's actually a price I can live with. So do you have this lens? I'm looking for some sample videos shot with it. I'm assuming it's probably not great for professional use in a corporate video but it might be cool for a wedding video or super fast zoom lens for vacations.

any fresh footage on those cheap cctv zooms?
seems to be very little on youtube.
i really want to know if it's worth investing in one for narrative work.
