Anybody ever shoot a movie with T2I???

Nearly the same image, and less overheating, plus you can install ML on the T2i. The only advantages of the 7D are build quality, weather sealing, better HDMI-out, and an extra thumb wheel.

My last film, "Leap: Rise of the Beast" was one of the six first features to shoot with the T2i, the first one completed, and the only one that I know of to use just the 18-55mm kit lens. So to answer the question, yes. We're using the T2i again on "Leap: Revelation" this spring, using Magic Lantern and the Flaat styles. I've been doing some effects tests and the image holds up just fine, so don't listen to naysayers if you need to do some heavy effects work. Also, we premiered ROTB at theater with a 40 ft screen and the image looked fantastic, even though it was off a DVD and not Blu-ray.
