GH3 Any word on GH3 cage?

Would love to find that HDMI cable, then perhaps use the stopper you posted above on the inside of the vertical part of the cage? I agree that it is pricy for what it is, but so is all of this! ug.

Not sure I like those cold shoe mounts. I'm thinking about all the gear I own and I can't think of a single thing to use with them. And there's three of them. Yikes!

Yeah, a different beast. The cold shoe mounts are generally superfluous but I like them when I am doing one-person docu or field interviews for a mic, my Juicedlink, etc. That can be added when I want to the Wooden, which is more flexible and, I bet, a bit stouter.
 
Just ordered Kamerar Tank TK-2 for 149$ at their web page for my GH3. Price-wise is comparable to Chinese no-name cages available at e-bay.
I plan to order a couple of 15mm rods about 10cm length to make the cage fit GH3 better.
They did the same trick with a Black Magic Cinema Camera here.

I was also thinking of trying to use a Cold shoe - Threaded Adapter to fix the camera on top, somewhat similar to Chameleon cage.
Do you guys think it will work? Anyone tried?
