1DC: Any way to play 1D C footage smoothly?

As much as I love this camera, from my exp. with CPS and canon reps at IBC, canon management has forgot about it pretty fast. It just didnt sell at all. I dont hope for any significant updates, would be a welcomed suprise though...

Totally. It was a bit of an odd ball camera. Nearly perfect for me, though.

?13,000 dollars/euros and 8bit log, and 4k mjpeg jello in a camera that cannot shoot 4k interviews for hours on end. Kind of puts it between a rock and a hard place.

with 2k 12bit raw, it would have hurt the c500 yada yada. But i think the c500 hurt the c500, all by itself.

So, yes, i do not seriously think they will give up 2k raw. I meant "hope", as in "well wishing".

It had a better image than the C300 cameras ever did. And the form factor made sense. Oh well....


even still, it is a remarkable camera, and i miss it very much.
