I have a DVX100. I am wanting to get close to the look of the Grindhouse--Planet Terror look for a project I'm doing. Anybody ever done anything like that in camera with a DVX?
Any suggestions--Grindhouse: Planet Terror Scenefile setting?

All I know is that RR had a CG guy create that filthy reel look as a plug in. I would make your footage really warm, washed out, and gained up. Or chuck magic bullets warmlook and agedlook. I don't wanna think about how long it will take to render, but if ya wnat the look it's worth it.

I dont know if this is the exact look you were going for but it might be a good start. I pm'd the guy on youtube but he hasnt gotten back to me. I think it looks absolutely amazing.

Not sure if it was just Death Proof, but I hear they physically scratched the film instead of digitally doing it.
Not an option in your case, and you can't do it from inside the DVX.
You'd need the NLE to do that. If you have Final Cut Pro, I strongly recommend getting plug-ins from here: http://www.nattress.com/
