any serious use for Kowa anamorphic 16-D with GH2 ?

Hi-
just found a sec hand shop that sell it for 70$ in excellent condition.
i plan to get more serious with anamorphics,
but i'll probably need a comfortably decent lens with all the focus issues.
but from my googling, i seems the 16-D model as no real practical use, at leas with bigger sensor cams.

any expert opinion ? with this lens especially ?

$70 is about half the typical auction price of Kowa/Sankor/Singer 2x anamorphic adapters on Ebay. I have found this adapter useful on most lenses of 50mm or larger focal lengths. The Kowa will give you nice flares, far better than the LA7200. The downside is that it's hard to focus and can't be used with wide lenses. 70$ is a steal.

Listen, I might get my hands on some anamorphic cinema lens called
Tehchnovision or something... Some Italian 70's made?
Couldn't find any catalog of them..
anyone knows about it? ( besides it was used for apocalypse now)
