C200: Any reason to still be making proxies?

I haven't updated my C200's firmware yet because I'm mid project, but was wondering if after updating if there's any reason to make your own proxies (in Premiere, Cinema Raw Development, etc.) over using Canon's proxies on the SD card?

I’ve updated my camera and tested the following- Took camera proxies into FCPX, cut a timeline, exported an XML, opened Resolve, imported the raw footage, imported the FCPX XML, and everything just linked and worked beautifully. I had my cut timeline in Resolve, with all the flexibility of the raw.
