Any P90X people here ?

Well I finished 45 days, exactly half way through. Can't believe I made it this far, but looking forward to getting through the second half. I have been neglectful in taking photos, haven't taken any, but I've had many people that know me comment that the change is noticable and my clothes are slowly fitting better and then looser.

I've lost 17 pounds and several inches (didn't measure in the beginning so don't know the exact number), I am down two pant sizes.

I also tried one of the p90x recovery drinks. There was some concern as I'm lactose intolerant and the p90x drink includes Whey Protein Concentrate which does contain lactose. I purchased a single drink pouch and used it yesterday after my workout as I was home and could deal with the problem if it caused one. However, it did not cause a single problem which was surprising as I'm fairly lactose sensitive. So now I have more options, though I'm finding I like the Isopure Zero Carb product and will probably stick with that.

I talked with my cousin who has been through P90X a couple times now, he told me he has the Insanity program and I can borrow it if I want. So when I finish this round of P90X I'm going to do the Insanity program, which is 60 days, no weights ... and I've been told it's aptly named :) Then I'm going to do P90X again, which should take me right up to my birthday next year, and right around my target weight/fitness/build/etc. Then it's just maintaining from there on out

Well, for those of you who don't follow me on FB or Twitter, I finally finished P90X Saturday. What a journey those 90 days were ... some easier than others, some days took every ounce of mental fortitude to push play, and four of the days I just couldn't do it, but I didn't skip those days, I simply pushed everything out a day and started the next day with whatever day was missed. So it actually took 94 days, but I did ALL 90 days.

I foolishly did not take before photos or measurements (except weight), but did start measuring about week 3. Based on those numbers and how my clothes fit before/after that period I can safely estimate that I lost about 2 inches off my neck, about 6 inches off my belly and about 4 inches off my waist/hips. I lost 22 pounds and built a ton of new muscle. I am inspired to continue the process of losing weight when I can feel defined abs that just need the fat layers to come off so they show through :)

A lot of people kept asking for photos, so I managed to find a photo of me taken about a month before I started. When I put that next to the photo I took Saturday afternoon (my after photo) I was stunned at the difference. Because I saw the daily changes I didn't realize how much overall change had occurred. Here's the photos for any who are interested:

Congrats, man!

I will be starting P90x again after Christmas. I have a Christmas party tonight for work, and I had to run by the Salvation Army to buy some pants. I'm getting too big for my britches. I'm at a healthy weight, but it's just not where I want the weight to be located.
