Hi,
i have a canon 60d, i like the image quality, the shallow depht of field i can have, the nikkor lens i can use with it, and all.

BUT the big issue is stabilization. It is hard to do a pan without a tripod, even with a good rig and a z-finder.

Is there another camera that have all the qualities of 60d without the stabilization problem ?

Thanks in advance

Olympus E-M5, E-P5 and E-M1 have 5-axis image stabilization. Best in the industry. You're limited to 1080/30 frames per second video recording at only 20-24 mbps, however, so moire and alaising may occur in complex, high motion, fast panning scenes.

Why not use a stabilized lens with your 60D ?

...Most DSLRs can produce a nice handheld image with a stabilized lens.

Yes, I have to admit... I woke up one morning and found I had gone from angry youth to cranky old man. Oh how time flies!

And to be honest, I'm really missing my avatar Kodi Bear lately. He was a 160 pound Cane Corso that thought he was a lap dog. He was absolutely fantastic. My new puppy has some very large paws to fill. Beau is a 6 month old Presa Canario who is now 95 pounds and is every bit the rambunctious teenager who is working me back down to my fighting weight. He untied my shoelaces 3 times this morning on the way to my studio!!!

Back to the OP...

IS lenses on your camera will help.

But practice makes perfect. Work on your panning. The more you practice, the smoother you will get.

You could also spend some big change on one of the many 3axis units available now.

But.... A tripod and fluid head should provide nice results for easy money, and is a tool everyone should have in their kit.

All the Best!

For crying out loud.... Put the damn camera on a tripod and do your pan.

End of story!

No buts....

I always have a camera with me, but never carry around a tripod anymore unless it's a planned shoot. I use the camera strap around my neck and press both hands against the camera. With practice you can shoot very steady using your body to acheve steady pans and even jib the camera up and down. Don't laugh, it works.
