Curious to know if there's any news on a new HVX200 coming? I have been using my DVX for the past few years and just about to finally make a jump to HD. I have always looked towards the HVX200 but as I'm about to make a purchase I see SONY came out with the XDCAM EX.
They both seem to be killer cameras and I'm not really asking which is better. I like the larger size chips in the SONY but I'm still leaning towards the HVX as of now. I like the fact there's still a deck even if only for SD.
Just wondering with the XDCAM coming out how close are we to a new release of an HVX200? ....and are there any rumored features of a new model?
I'm sure somebody on this forum would have a little insight!
Thanks!
