Any good deals for the 7d?

Hey Guys,

I have a budget of $2500 to spend.

I would like to buy a 7d with the 28-135mm lens, an extra battery, and some kind of support. Still trying to decide if I should upgrade my tripod, little no name brand but still works ok, to a lower grade manfrotto or buy some kind of shoulder support.

Is the z-finder worth investing in?


The stuff i will be doing will be inside, and I have compact flash cards for it.

Does anyone know of any deals or rebates going on for the 7d?

There are often 7D bodies and kits for sale, as well as lenses in just about every size and shape. If you're not afraid to buy used, it's a great resource.

There is bing cashback right now on ebay so you can get a 7d with a lens for roughly $1700. There was also dell cashback around black friday which made the kit like $1500 so you might want to wait and see if that comes back.

Yeah, I took adavantage of the Bing promo when it was at 15%. Was able to pick up a 7d (body only) for $1400.
