FS5: Any fears regarding using Metabones with the FS5?

I'm heavily invested in Canon lenses which is what is making my choice between C100mkii and FS5 a tough one.

And I do read negatives stories about Metabones here and there. About it disengaging, etc.

I do mostly journalistic type work so I can't afford too much down time in the field. It's run and gun.

Any concerns about Metabones out there?

I do love the AF on the Canons and the integration with the lenses and the color science. So, I'm trying to decide if the 4K/slo mo of FS5 will be worth the hassle with the Metabones, with color correcting that blueish flat image, and the lesser performance with AF (though I can get used to relying more on manual).
My work is for the internet, so 4K only has so much value.

I don't have any experience with an FS5 + Metabones (few do at this point) but I have almost 1k hrs on my FS700 and most of that has been with a Canon to NEX Speed Booster. Occasionally I'll put a lens on and it won't communicate, but every time that happens I just have to disconnect and reconnect the lens--I push the release and rotate the lens 15 deg or so then snap it back in and it communicates fine. I've never had one drop communication once it had it, in the middle of a shot or anything.

Well, that's sounds encouraging. I would probably get the normal adapter and not the Speed Booster. That's good it doesn't suddenly drop in the middle of a shot.

My Metabones SB Ultra pretty much lives on my FS7. Occasionally I will swap out for the Mark IV (mostly because I have one Sigma lens that is not full frame) - but I've never had any trouble what-so-ever with either of them not communicating, etc. with any of my Canon lenses almost a year into using them on the FS7
