Any ex-canon users disappointed with GH2?

Let's not confuse stills and video performance here guys.

7D +1 for stills.

GH2 +1 for video.

Despite this, the 7D shoots OK video, and the GH2 OK photos, so take your pick based on your priorities.

I moved from GH1 to 7D back to GH2. The GH2 is much lighter and doesn't have the 12 minute duration limit and much less moire. I am selling my 7D and will try to hack my GH1.

I would opine that, relatively speaking, the 7D's video is about as good as the GH2's photos, and the GH2's video is about as good as the 7D's photos :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG). Everyone clear now?

Or you could say:

Photos:
7D --------
GH2----

Videos:
7D ----
GH2--------

i am not at all disappoint, however I am still hanging on to my 5dmark 2 . the GH2 plugs in lots of the gapping holes which the 5dmark 2 left out. hopefully the 5dmark3 will at least have the same features as gh2 with 5dmark2 sensor size!

It's heading the opposite direction for me. the more I use the GH2 the most impressed I am. Still love our 5d and for some things it's better... but one of the greatest things about the GH2 is now shooting without so much fear of aliasing, composing shots artistically rather than for what will work best for the camera.

GH2 with a slider dolly... heaven.

I just sold my T2i and all my Canon lenses. Don't miss them. The Canon was almost useless for video outdoors in the sun.
I almost bought one of those $350 viewfinders. Glad I found the GH2 before throwing more money
in the Canon system.

I'm sure the 5D3 is going to blow away the 5D2 exactly like the T3i blew away the T2i. -.-

I thought the T3i was not being recommended as a worthwhile upgrade from T2i, that's what the reviewers are saying.

I mostly have Panasonic gear and love it but one thing that does pee me off is you cannot buy waterproof housings for GH1/2, yet every underwater manufacturer caters for Canon and to a lesser degree Nikon. I would kill for a WP Housing for GH series.
