Please note what I actually wrote for the part that is in question. Here it is, copied & pasted:

So, to be clear, we still intend to do this. We are simply unsure just how fast we will be able to go. 50p/60p? Absolutely. 100p/120p? We believe so. 200p/240p? In theory, but we need to test it A LOT to know for sure.

No false promises. No fraud. No bullshit. Honestly, I think I've been pretty straight up about it.
 
Mitch Gross keep up the good work! i know CD really put a lot effort in it, it is way better than others from what i know.
I don't mind be waiting for half of a year to get most of the features update ,if it can working perfectly and without bug/error, as long as it can make 7Q work and shine to the MAX and i will be happy! It is really better than release very fast but with a lot of bug, then it will be more trouble and unhappy user come out.

I actually love to use RAW file rather than prores for film, it can adjust the exposure crazily, it save my last film! BUT i still prefer record prores video file that require same day or short time editing. That no need take long time to convert RAW to prores. So really looking for 2k high frame rate prores, praying hard it can work! at least for few sec like fs700 internal! This is my best wish to have in 7Q.

Anyway really love CD that putting a lot effort in doing firmware update not like sony only give a lot firmware update for f5/55 only T.T

Human being never feel enough and satisfy what they have got. But im comparing them to other company, they are really well done and so far im still satisfy.
They will reply ur mail, they come forum hear suggestion, they give firmware update.
Look at how many other company wont reach this especially sony. You can't even suggest thing to them and they wont try to put into the firmware update. They rarely give firmware update, and even give the firmware update mostly is about lens correction only.

This is just my own opinion, of course more will be better, but they didn't keep quiet and say won't do it, at least they are doing it and we knowing they are doing it. Is really better than keep silent all the time i face before from other company. Maybe in your experience they are the worst, but at least they are the best to me so far honestly.

In my case and from my experience it's different.
I wrote 4 mails after the March formerly called February update to Mr. Magrum and he replied not a single one.
They don't give me the functions they announced and I have paid already. You may call it firmware update I call it
a vague promise. If other companies are even worse it doesnt make it better for me.
