any chance of new images before reservations expire?

Advantage to those who "gambled"

Advantage to those who "gambled"

I believe there will be some outside footage at the West Coast showing, unfortunately after the reservations close. If you have any reservations about putting in a reservation :-), then I'd wait until we start taking orders again in Feb or March. If you put an order in right after we open things back up, you shouldn't have missed many spots. There will be an advantage to those that "gambled" on us early... but there is no crime in waiting.

As a new member of the Red One family (I reserved one this afternoon) I am very interested in what the "advantage" might be for early buyers? Anyone (Red Employee Viewers) have any insight what the advantage may be?

Hey Finner, congrats and welcome to the show. Jim ( I believe) mentioned something for the first 100. Please understand, getting the R1 will be the advantage. I would just sit back and enjoy the process. Anything else is gravy and his kindness.

Cheers,

I think Red was awful busy today. I wanted to confirm my order and make sure my credit card info was not faxed to a wrong #. They told me I was in the 900's and that they had already recivied about 100 reservations that day. The main reason I ask about the advantage is that a camera and everything needed to begin shooting will add up to be a fairly large # so any freebee add ons would be much appreciated.

It was a very busy day today. Joanne and Kelly have been working overtime to make sure everyone got handled. It is somewhat of a relief. We appreciate the trust that the reservation holders have given us. Now we can concentrate on building the camera and delivering the goods. We had a great shoot yesterday and think that a lot of the footage can make the Nov. 14th preview.

Jim
