any apple tv users?

i've been making a lot of my HD content apple tv ready for when i got one, which i got this past weekend. i had been using the apple tv HD preset in mpeg streamclip to export everything, but the videos won't work, i get an error message saying something like, "xxxx movie can not be played on apple tv".

any suggestions?
 
i've tried that as well, but all it spits out is a 960x540 sized image. i mean that looks great and all on my tv, but i'd like to have the 1280x720 image.
 
i've used mpeg stream clip(which apple tv didn't like that export, but it was 1280), qt pro(which made it 960x540), visual hub(again, 960x540).
 
ahhh ok, after reading that article its much clearer to me know. 720p stuff must be 25fps or less. my stuff is done at 30. makes sense now. thanks david!
