Antonello Parlapiano - no budget music video - Canon 7D

Thanks!
Unfortunately, no vintage lense, only color grading made of optical flares layers

The biggest issue I had was the heavy make up in the bright sun. I think a later in the day time would have been better. Of course one has to shoot when every one is available, location available, etc...
But I think there could have been more contrast with the back ground relative to the heavy makeup that would have worked better.

You don't really need 'vintage lenses' unless you are going for very specific looks. If 'soft' lens flair is desired, one can put 'nose' grease on a plain glass filter, or heavier 'grease' to get those sorts of looks in camera. Nylon stocking material stretched over the lens would work as well for some situations. And you can 'vignette' the effect by placing 'no grease' in areas on the filter, or cutting holes in the stocking material.
