Yeah the level and tilt display is actually a pretty awesome feature since it is very easy even with a rig to be a bit off.

Especially for ball heads that do not have a spirit level.
I didn't forget, I just don't find those features all that attractive for me personally. I still prefer a smaller flip phone which is just a phone.

i still prefer a phone to be wired to the wall, i will enjoy the WiFi on my ipod touch tho
if they don't skimp on controllable features.

Just a brief note to those that are judging GH3 as a CAMERA solely on it's ability to complete with the GH2....
There is a lot more to an effective and efficient device than just it's image quality...
1) GH3 has much better power management and larger capacity battery than the GH2 and this can be critical.
2) GH3 saves in much more flexible CODECs than the GH2. This impacts workflow
3) GH3 is alleged to produce better still. samples so far seem to be positive. I'll have to run my own tests.
4) Heat management has been improved in the GH3
5) Weathersealing the GH3 puts it into a different usage category
So I could go one but basically, it's pointless comparing the GH3 with the GH2, when the BMCC is the hot competitor. After all, in the real world 4:2:2 and above trumps 4:2:0 (GH3) hands down.

That's very true. The BMCC has the clear lead on image quality, but it's lack of certain features makes it a less effective camera in a lot of situations.
But it's not always about being effective or efficient. There are those who will choose the less efficient BMCC because it does have the better image. And there are those who will stick with the Gh2 if it turns out the GH3 image isn't as good or better.
I think that will depend a lot on what you're shooting and what you do with the footage. If there's little or no post work, the average viewer isn't going to be complaining that the footage was shot 4:2:0.
Having said that, I would agree that all else being equal, it's always better to shoot 4:2:2 or better when possible. But all else is not equal between the BMCC and GH cameras when it comes to features and usability, so there may well be times where the GH series is the better camera for the job, even with it's inferior 4:2:0 sampling.
