Not that I was ever a huge fan of the original but, this doesn't look like any kind of improvement--


I'd rather watch this--

 
I would pay to see a Footloose re-make if Kevin Bacon reprised his role. Can you imagine? Creepy, middle-aged Kevin Bacon playing a dancing teenager, amongst real teen actors. That would be really messed up and awesome.

If they bring back some (or all) of the original cast then I'm keen on it. Baldwin gets funnier as time goes on, and frankly you dont see enough of Keaton and Davis these days. Ryder - well I can take it or leave it.
Burton as Producer, well then I'm very keen on it.

I agree 100% with this. Would be interesting if they made it based on Ryders daughter dealing with the afterlife. Keaton was in decent enough make-up then to pull it off now.
