Hi everyone.
- I am a new owner of a 7D, and have hunted the web last night for an elegant solution to edit the huge 1920P data on my PC. My background is in DV and 16mm shooting and editing.
- I have found many many discussions, solutions, work around and more, have tried the square 5D road (with horrible crashes), and it seems that the "less worse road" is the proxy editing system.
- People also mention neoscene at 100$ appx to do the conversion pre/editing.
What is the latest on the subject? is neoscene the best way to go?
And last: in a pipeline with after FX is the best road to edit then import the PPJ in after FX, or color grade first?
Apologies if this has been developped in other threads. If this is the case, can you point me to it?
