C300: annoying switching mode monitor output

I might be doing something wrong, but I have a problem that I didn't have with the old c300, but with the C3002 I allways have to switch monitor output when changing from MoviM10 to C3002 tophandle. Anybody have a solution?

I've re-read your post several times and don't understand your question.
Could you re-phrase it and described what is happening.
 
menu: select montoring devices:
mon + HDMI + LCD (VF)
mon + HDMI + VF
LCD + VF

when working with the Movi I have to set to:
mon + HDMI + VF
when working with the Canon monitor I have to set to:
LCD + VF


with the former C300 I never had to make that switch
 
I understand now. I'm using and external viewfinder.
What I have found is: if you unplug the LCD in -mon + HDMI + LCD (VF)- it defaults to the internal viewfinder and vice versa it will default back to LCD.
The Record out stays hot - you could run the monitor off that.
 
thank you for that, I tried that and it works, but the thing is, I don't get the info I have on the other displays (Iris/resoluiton/etc). it's just the display, which is a start, but still not what I want. what are your other settings in the menu?
