Annoyed with noga rms and 1/4 20 threads

i'd like to know if there's something similar to this set up for attaching an evf to 15 mm rods. at the moment i have a rod clamp that has a 1/4 20 screw and noga arm. It works ok, but sometimes the noga arm becomes loose and its very irritating. Maybe it only affects me because I've never heard anyone complain about this. I'd like a clamp that clamps to the 15mm rods then allows another rod to be securely attached to the clamp via some locking mechanism, but with versatility to be put in various positions. i've never liked noga arms and 1/4 20 threads but i put up with them. the Zacuto kit is nice but pricey.

i would say this is one of those cases where zacuto is VERY worth the money. when their stuff is locked - ITS LOCKED

my solution for this was their:
minimount
zamerican arm
z-mount (to attach the arm to the minmount)
zicro (to attach the monitor to the arm)

aint cheap. but its one of the BEST solutions out there!
ONE knob. move it. like it. set it. forget it.

+2. The Zacuto Zamarican Arm is very well designed and works in situations where other arms don't cut the mustard. It's worth the extra $$$.
