Can anybody please tell me how I can export files like this with fcp 7 ???
Anamorphic without the black bars ??
I can't read they use a anamorphic lens so there is a thrick they use with the FCP
If I hit the anamorphic option on the sequence settings I will get distortion so anybody other suggestion ??

Don't change the sequence settings to anamorphic. Don't tick the anamorphic tab on the clips.
Double click on a clip on the timeline to open it with the viewer.
Go to the motion tab and change the aspect ratio setting from 0 to -30 (if you use a 1.33x anamorphic) to -60 (if you use a 1.5x anamorhic) and to -100 (if you use a 2x anamorphic).
Export your clip as 1920x1080 and on compressor, or mpeg streamclip crop the corresponding number of pixels on top and bottom of your clip to end up with no black bars.
For instance if you crop 132 pixels on top and 132 pixels on bottom of your clip you end up with a 1920x816 clip with no black bars which is approximately 2.35:1

thank you kostas
But when I change the aspect ratio from 0- to -30 and exprot the file to 1920 x 1080 I got footage with distortion (fat people)

Are you sure your sequence is not ticked as anamorphic, and that your clips anamorphic setting isn't ticked either?
Is the footage aspect ratio right when you view it on the timeline?

Sequence setting not klikt on anamorphic
Also in the timeline I have distortion by the settings 0 to -30

Anamorphic shouldn't be clicked either on the item properties when you right click on a clip on the timeline.
If this is the case, I cannot tell what could be your problem.

I am aware of this Bloom's tutorial.
But I thought you had footage shot with an anamorphic lens.
If all you need is to crop standard 16:9 footage without black bars, then yes this is the answer.
Basically it is what I said in my first post, except that you need not change the aspect ratio, since your footage is not shot with an anamorphic lens (that is why you got fat people because of the wrong aspect ratio.)
