GH2 Anamorphic shooting with the GH2

Recently did several test with anamorphic shooting on the GH2. Tried 2 lenses. The Sankor 16C and the Icso Kiptar 2X. Kiptar is very sharp, but big and harder to get close focus. Sankor 16C is a great little lens. Paired it together with a Helios 58mm and Canon FD 50mm. Very happy with this result:

Looks quite cinematic. I have both (constructive) criticism and questions, the lighting is a bit minimalistic. I hoped the lead singer had those specular high lights in his eye to maintain eye contact. A very tiny lamp should be enough to illuminate his eyes. Other thing is that 2x anamorphic is too wide for 50 mm lens. Wide means there should be a lot in the image, so I would expect to see a very broad view. So it actually does look cropped, even if it's not. But other than that, great cinematic values exists in that production.

My questions would be, have you tried any of the 1.5x anamorphic lenses that would offer 2.35:1 aspect? And another question would be, can you rack focus on any of the anamorphic adapters? If you put the anamorphic adapter on a lens that has truly internal focus so that no external dimensions change, could you pull focus? This is the one thing that prevents me from going anamorphic, as I want to be able to pull focus during a shot.
 
Thanks for constructive feedback. I tiny eyelight could have worked. I decided not to do it to make the look and feel even more sinister and dark. Te fact that you cannot see his eyes gives an uncomfortable feeling. Thats exactly what I wanted.
I only have 2, 2X anamorphics right now, one 35mm, one 16mm. First I thought that might be too wide. But now I actually like it. The super widescreen gives me the opportunity to leave a lot of space empty. Nevertheless, I would like to try 1,5X as well. In this case you need to focus both lenses. With an adaptor or Iscorama you can focus just one.
