What is the best way to create 2.35.1 anamorphic guidlines on the LCD's of my Canon 7D and 60D?

Thank you in advance to any replies :)

Tape?

No hoestly though. Get an image with the crop marks on it. Load it onto the camera and then on an external monitor or your lcd use thin thin paper tape (like painters tape won't hurt the lcd) to match those lines.

Thanks for the replies guys :)

How should I go about creating a 2.35.1 image? Should I export 1-frame (as a .jpg or something) from the video timeline in Premiere that has had the 2.35.1 bars added to it and put it on my 60D's SD card?

On my last film I made myself a little 2.35 frame out of red gel. Just measure the length of the image on the LCD and divide that number by 2.35 to get the appropriate frame height. Then cut out your 2.35 sized piece of gel, then cut about a half cm frame around that so you can attach it to your camera. I bought a glue runner used for scrap booking at a local craft store and it works great for sticking it to the viewfinder. You can take off the gel and just wipe away the glue residue; no mess.

Woah, easy now... crop is CROP, ana is something else. And, few movies today are 2.35, rather 2.40 (quite a difference actually). Stick a movie fraps grab the way you like in your cam and tape accordingly.

2.40? really? I'll have to create new ML cropmarks... I thought this would be less prone to fashion swings...
