note: i do own other t-shirts, it just happens iam back around to this one haha (for people who have seen my other posts)

i am struggling to figure out the correct way to work with the footage once its off the camera tho... anyone got any wisdom (thats not in a form of a link) ive read most of the posts already and am still stumped.

iam editing in ADOBE PREMIERE CS5, its really a workflow of resizing and exporting to get a good quality 720p export, without the black bars.

CS5 export seems to jump about and reset settings and such for me so any help would be super grateful, and il be uploading videos along the way.

any thots, comments or disses welcome :2vrolijk_08:

also picked up a LIGHT CRAFT WORKSHOP ND FADER, its so much better than screwing and unscrewing all the time.

ANAMORPHIC SANKOR 16c + GH13 (first test)

my first anamorphic test

panasonic gh1 (hacked) c settings
sankor 16c anamorphic lens
very boring clip iam sorry

what i learnt from my 1st day out...
its really tricky to focus by eye, i thought most of what i filmed today was pretty close to being in focus but when i got home i released that i suck!

this was the closest i could get.
clip straight off the camera apart from de-squeeze in prem cs5.

all in all i suck and wasn't very happy with what i filmed today but i thought id upload my failure as doing things wrong hopefully lead to doing them right eventually
and i feel i understand what these anamorphics do/are a bit more now.

I think it's ok for a first try.

But why didn't you use the GH1's focus assist? It's quite easy to reach.

I love it , so wiiiiiiiiide. Slap a +1 close up diopter on the front and it might help with closer focus.
Shoot people in foreground, really makes a difference.

thanks for the comments johnnym and biginvegas

i was using an old 50mm canon fd lens so no focus assist available. (focus assist is when it zooms in while you manually focus right??)

yeah it is really really wide! stan the man kubrick wide
i just did a search for the diopters, i see its just a close up filter? i know this will be a crappy way of doing it but is that pretty much all they are?

i reworked the clips and re-uploaded and tried to save with some good music.

hey ryan.

nothing other worldly  just a plane going over, i'm not far from an airport, you can hear it if u've got speakers on.

i wish id snuck it into the sequence of clips with no sound just the music, would have added a little mystery
cheers for watching
