Anamorphic desqueeze on Z-Finder

Has anyone here used 2x squeeze lenses on their DSLR's 16x9 chip and desqueezed in a z-finder for anamorphic? Did it unsqueeze the image by 1.3x or 2x? If 1.3x, you'll get close to 2.40:1... if 2x you'll have a much narrower 3.55:1.

I'm curious to know because I need a monitor solution for 3.55:1

I'm assuming the z-finder will take the 16x9 image and 1.3x unsqueeze to make a proper 2.40:1 image, or an incorrect 2.35:1 image.
