An Attempt at Dodging Sales Tax Question- Amazon and the like

So, I have been saving money so that I can just pay cash for my 7d. My plan was to go ahead and buy it at Best Buy now and put it on the 18months no interest they have going. But the sales tax is going to tack on a significant amount of course. My simple question is, does Amazon charge sales tax. I did a google search and searched their website and it looks like they only charge sales tax in the states of Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington. Any of you guys that bought thru Amazon able to confirm that? Any other places that I could buy and not have to mess with sales tax (besides finding a used one of course)???
 
Maybe someone in a tax exempt state would let me ship my camera to them... lol- that is unsafe on so many levels- wish i lived in NH, MT, or OR (or any others)
 
There is a 10% off coupon for best buy that basically takes off the sale tax. Take a look that the thread at the top of the 7D page. The link is in there somewhere.
 
Amazon doesn't have any brick and mortor stores in Texas, so they aren't required to collect a State Sales Tax on online purchases. I only pay extra for the shipping.
 
just called amazon, which i guess i should have done before i put this thread up, and sure enough... no sales tax to arkansas. however, since best buy is actually shipping i would rather buy it there. amazon still says it is not released.
and i just now remembered that a 10% coupon is at our local post office in the "welcome to our town" stash that they give out... thanks for the heads up on that!
hate to get greedy but man i wish i could use the 10% on amazon and bale on sales tax...
