Can someone tell me what the words in the songs are. So I can understand why people are crying. etc or perhaps a history lesson. as I'm a stupid american.

Here is a bit what the songs are about:

The songs are Soviet songs which were written during war,,,and in later years for movies about the war. One of them speaks about the killed soldiers who reincarnate into cranes and cry from the skies. "And maybe that is why every now and then we get silent, look up and listen to their voices,,, It's very emotional.

It is about the war shaking up and splitting up families and loves and at the end, she writes:
You are always near, 1945

That was amazing... she is stunning... something to store away in the memory banks under "human beauty."

Yeah, she's incredible. Saw it earlier as Jon mentioned. Sand, of all things. Doh. Just goes to show that true artisty knows no bounds. And to wipe each scene away like that to make way for more interpretations. wow. And, ofcourse, it doesn't hurt that she's hot looking, just as an extra bonus. As if her artistic ability wasn't enough. So, when can I marry her?

Just watched that again. Amazing.

I briefly scrolled down the comments and found this as the 3'rd comment down, and I quote:

This is what he said. This is what, someone, he, actually said. Wow.

The paintings ...err sandings she does, remember me to Edvard Munch and other early 20th century expressionists, but she does it at a rate of under 20 seconds per picture.
