Hi All,

This is the trailer for series 2 of a superhero show shot here in NZ. Series 1 was shot on the DVX but this was shot on the HVX 202 (PAL version of the 200) at SD. We are stoked with the results. So far series 1 has screened on network TV in NZ and Australia and this series has been bought by Nickelodeon Aus and will screen here early 2008.

I'd love any feedback or questions. Also it is of interest that we did all our effects shots on the P2s at 720p. I can post some before and afters if requested.

Hope you enjoy

Matt

Pleased you like it - We used this piece as a sales clip at MIP so it is a bit longer than a usual trailer. We have plenty more up our sleeves - my VFX super almost killed me ! Averaging just over 100 VFX shots per 1/2 hr EP.

AEF! know a few people working on that.. prod wise though, not post, put some good work into the community.

If you ever need a assistant editor give me a yell. Are you guys cutting on avids or fcps?.. avids and 720p must be interesting if you are...

the trailer was awesome. one thing you might consider though, as a trailer, it seems to show me a serious series in the beginning, and then a comedic series toward the end. It's great to have both, but it seems that the trailer is a little off balance to show one then the other. Know what I mean? About half way through the trailer, it looked like I was watching a trailer for a whole DIFFERENT series.

Looks fun though!
