with my dvx100b am i better off recording at the 60i setting, motion stabalizing then adding motion blur, like http://www.revisionfx.com/mblur/trackedBasedMotion.mov
or am i better off recording at 24pa, motion stabalizing?
i practiced recording something, but with my very very unsteady hand, all the motion adds this unwanted jerkiness, blurred and its choppy, not professional at all.
next, what setting do i record to be able to throw my video onto the big screen. thanks all

Might I recomend one of these:

Seriously though, are you trying to shoot something handheld style and finding it too shaky? If so, there are tools and tips that can really help you. - Or are you trying to shoot without using the proper support?

i was just practicing, i know i need a tripod of course. but didint know if without one if the footage could be slavaged u know

It is possible to shoot Handheld footage that is acceptable for many situations. Some tips are to keep both hands on the camera. Use the EVF (viewfinder) too as it's contact with your eye will also help support the camera.
Tuck your elbows into your body as you shoot to help brace the camera.

Different movements speeds at 24p can sometimes cause undesirable strobing. That is something that you will learn to work with with time.

Also try to control your breathing, slower controlled breaths with your diaphragm will yield better results than large chest movements.

Stabilizing in post is not a good idea. Find a way to get stay shots without having to "fix it in post".

There are many support options out there to help with handheld shooting too: the DVrig, Spiderbrace and Camhandle all come to mind.

Of course there are then more advanced camera supports like Dollys, Jibs, Steadicam, and of course the good old trusty Tripod!
