Alterntive to GoPro?

Hi, I´m thinking about getting a GoPro HD Hero to record some on board footage in my car. The GoPro has been in ther market for quite some time already. Is there anything better right now in terms of quality or price?
 
The main competitor I know of is the Contour...better build quality, better low light performance, but it's a little more expensive (at least the last time I looked, looks like it might have dropped since then).

I've been using the GoPro and Drift HD170 for a wide variety of reality TV and race programming and have enjoyed using them where no other camera would dare go. The problem is that the image quality has always left me wanting. I've just started testing a new entry into the Action Cam POV world called the RePlay XD1080 and it is the first POV camera that has left a smile on my face. All aluminum construction, great attention to detail, well engineered, easy to use, and the picture blows the others out of the water.

If you are looking for a GoPro alternative and you don't need to go diving, this is my favorite available today.

I am planning a complete side by side comparison but in the meantime, here is some sample footage I just uploaded...
