Very nice work. A period piece, very hard to pull off on a min budget, but it looks great! Look forward to more. That was shot with the DVX?

wow Matthew you did a good Job.
I can't wait to see more, did you use a 35mm adapter at any time ?
you do good work how many guys did you have to help out ?

awesome work. i like the minimal amount of dialogue.. it worked well. how long did it take to shoot?

Thanks guys! No adapter, just the stock lens. As for crew, one day we had four people, including myself. Most days we had three total crew, including myself. But I also acted in the film, so I had to constantly be running back and forth.

Actually, for some of the later (actually pretty dangerous) scenes it was just me and the camera operator.

SHot over a 1 year period to get the changing seasons, 12 days total.

Thanks for checking it out!

Yeah,
This is really good. Visually, it looks great and I agree with not using a lot of dialogue when you don't need to. The story should be able to tell itself without a lot of characters explaining what is going on and I think you really nailed that here.

Nice!

just curious if you got your color saturation in camera.
also wondering how you got such great images on Youtube. Thats some of the cleanest I have seen for YouTube compression.
