as some of you have noticed over the last couple of days we've added an all-star group of folks to our moderator panel.. Folks who represent this site well, are cool, and all come from different backgrounds with different areas of expertise. Probably the biggest thing, is that they are all representative of the good kind of atmosphere we like to promote here, and which made dvxuser so great in the first place.

We've been growing about a 1,000 members a month for some time now, and I'm sure some of you recognize the growing pains that has caused with the influx of new membership not so familiar with the more laid back, and courteous atmosphere we like to promote here. so I hope you will all agree that the folks we have recruited to help take care of this community, grow it, and re-establish the atmosphere that was once a given here... are some great picks...

The great thing is that there are so many great members to choose from...

Anyways... just wanted to make it official...

We don't usually make a public affair of it when a new mod comes on board, but I thought this cast of folks coming on board all at once was worth noting.

Here are the new additions:
Sad Max, Noel Evans, MattinSTL, Brandon Rice, Stephen Mick, Erik Olson, and Phillip Bloom

Such a well-rounded group of cool, and very talented, and successful folks... If you don't know them already, look them up.
 
I love this decision, you godded some of the coolest guys around here (not saying that there aren't more...).

So true. I love long shortlists! Now heading.....to contribute in this awesome forum that has always been a nice place and will continue to be (well at least since I joined back in 2005...I don't know how the starting was... I always like to think that it was like the creation of the world with volcanoes erupting and chaos everywhere...:laugh:).
 
More on the mod squad huh? That certainly is a good group of people.

I haven't yet noticed the growing pains, so I suppose that's a good sign that DVXuserland is indeed still intact and doing fine.
 
Very nice. Slowly but surely all my Austin friends are becoming mods. Except JDS just moved, but he still counts.
