Alcohol+Girls+T2i+60i=The perfect combination

@Postmaster Its like an actually party at a club. Not a house party. Everything needs creative marketing nowadays especially with the net.

But you showed some kids coming to someones flat and get drunk?

Man...I am so glad that sitting in a house getting drunk is no longer my idea of an awesome time. lol

It was the greatest, though, back when I was 12.

But yeah, I too didn't understand the commercial aspect of the shoot. I doubt any liquor company would want itself perceived as something done in excess in some windowless apartment. ;)

I didnt want to shoot in a nice looking house because thats not reality for a college student. If youve ever been to college you know all about the white wall apt building.

I am graduating college in a month. I am well aware of the environment and have been with friends in the same type of apartments many times over.

But what is reality and what looks good on film are two completely different things. If you wanted to make a more "classy" and "glamorous" "I'm up in the club with money to burn" looking commercial (which it seams you did) finding someone who lives somewhere with anything other then white on the walls would be my first inclination.

That definitely wasnt what i was going for at all. I was going for a regular night before a big party in a dorm room before going out to the club. Nothing in this was supposed to be classy. Its supposed to be reckless and over the top in fact in the scene that they try to be classy it gets disrupted by recklessness. The guy throwing money was supposed to be a play on the lines in the lyrics of the song.

Its called a pregame. Basically the pre party before you go out for real

Hmmm, gotta be a lame party when they have to get drunk BEFORE they go there to have some fun.

When I was young we had better parties.

But I´m 42, I guess that makes me an grumpy old fart.

This looks like a fun video to put together with some friends, I don't understand the hostility. It's not a *real* commercial, so what's the issue?

if it's a normal college dorm I would've put posters or something on the wall to break up the bland white color.

I don't understand how the "commercial" promotes anything to do with the club that you're trying to promote. The only time I see anything about the club is the "closing credits". I wouldn't make CLOSING CREDITS the largest text when you're trying to get people to notice the club's name and location. I wouldn't even put the words "CLOSING CREDITS" at all. People know what they are. I was hoping that halfway through you'd actually get to the club and show what it's like there and cut back to the guy in the bathroom but that never happened. I know nothing about the club except where it's located from the "commercial." Probably could've been half as long.

That aside, the "classy" part where the girls were sitting at the table and then the guys poured liquor in their drinks was pretty funny.

Let me just clear this up. This is a commercial for a party called "Closing Credits" which is going to be the last party of the college semester (hence the name) at my school The University of NC at Charlotte. This particular promo is supposed to show everyone getting ready to go out to the party. I dont know about half of you all but mostly when people at my school are about to go out we usually drink at someones apartment 1.because drinks are expensive at the bar and 2.some people arent 21 lol. We have done commercials for our parties in the past that created a huge buzz for the party itself. This is just another commercial we did because the past one we did was so successful.
