Aja Cion lens adapter

[hscully]

MTF has designed adapters for the Aja Cion http://cinescopophilia.com/mtf-services-drop-three-lens-mount-adapters-for-the-aja-cion-camera/

This is good news for me. I'll take a Nikon G for use with the Tokina 11 - 16 and Nikon 70 - 200. The ZFs don't need it but what the heck, I'm glad to see some movement on them.

Aja is being very quiet about the release of this camera. I haven't seen any new footage out in the world. I hope they get it right. I am very interested in this camera.

I'm not really in the market for a new camera (FS700+7Q is rocking it right now, which I also use Nikon lenses on) but I liked the look and specs of the Cion. However, PL-only was a big set back IMO. Most of the guys buying an $8000 body don't have PL lenses and their budgets probably don't allow them to constantly rent PL lenses either. If I am buying a camera, I want it to be adaptable to the lenses I already own because they are already paid for and renting lenses cuts into my margins.

Good to know that people are making lens adapters for it, though! I'm excited to see what comes out of this camera.
