AGC splitter wire work for GH1?

I'm trying to find a quick way to record good sound from my wired lav mic on my gh1, Can I just use one of those canon agc disable splitter wires with the mp3 player playing that tone on one line?

time if a big factor in this next project and i don't want to have to use plural eyes on this one.

can't think of any reason why this shouldn't work with the gh1. but you need an 3.5mm to 2.5mm adaptor, since the gh1 has only a 2.5mm audio input jack.


I use a diy-cable and it works fine.

can you send me the parts for the DIY cable please. I would like to make one from RadioShack or something, but I'm unsure if a regular headphone splitter is what I need since I don't want the tone to ovelap with the audio making it not removable.
