I got a pleasant surprise from my DVX200 when I took it to a bridal show today. Despite severe clipping from some windows, the color looks almost exactly where I want it and it is even pretty close to a Sony A7rii set in Standard mode with -3 contrast. Here is some footage from the show. Skin tones look just about right to me. The only drawback is that with this customized scene file from one of Barry's original files, I have lost a stop or two of exposure. I was using scene file 4 that I posted here a day or so ago.

!Probably better to go on Facebook, but I will follow where everyone else wants to go.
I couldn't agree with you more. I'd like to see all of he DVX200 stuff on dvxuser.com especially being that this site offers all of the other resources that it's gained over the years from eberyone's knowledge combined. It's not rocket science to add an area specific to the DVX200 along with some sub categories but having this one thread now at 282 pages to cover the entire subject is just insanity.I like this site!
Great solution!The DVX100 forum needs to become .... DVX100/200
Yeah! FINALLY. I'll turn off the forum that I did when I get home. That's all I was looking to accomplish by starting a seperate forum. It only makes sense for all of the DVX200 information to be part of this site. Thanks guys!and....bam!
Its own area, thanks!
I'd like to check them out, but the link says the files are not available.Lower the ISO/gain as much as possible. If you need gain, use HIGH SENS.
Then, lower the detail level to minimize sharpening the noise; once you have the detail where you want it you can consider using detail coring to overcome any residual noise.
