AG-DVX100A Rebate Kicked up a Notch

HI Jan I bought my dvx100a after the 15 th and when I checked the status of my rebate. It said $300 not $500. What do I have to do to fix this? Also I never got a confirmation email to my email addy videographer at gmail.com
 
I bought my panasonic 1st week of august which also came with the magic bullet software + the barry green book. Applied for the rebate the same week, it went through but I never got my confirmation in my email. So I'm thinking they're sending it, but I call and check and they have nothing of me applying for a rebate. I try applying again and it tells me doesn't recognize s/n. Now what should I do
 
is there supposed to be a confirmation emai for the rebatel? I never got one. I was under impression there wasn't one.

update: okay, I got a rebate number. I figure this could be used to verify online or on the phone
 
The reason that it said it didn't recognize is because your serial number is already used from your first submission.

There is a toll free phone number on the rebate site, call it they should be able to answer your questions.

hello ive allready recieved my rebate in the mail a cuple of months ago im still waiting for my tapes and batteries - im runnining out of tapes and nobody carrys 63 minute pany pro tapes here in the bay area ca.SO PLEASE SEND TAPES !!! IM OUT- NEED MORE TAPES-

I bought my 100a three weeks ago and I haven't recieved the tapes and battery, but I don't care I'm patient, hopefully it comes soon, my original dv tape is running out.

I just checked the status of my panasonic rebate and it says the check is for $300. It also says it is made in Japan. Is that normal? I know the rebate part is not, I should be receiving $500 from Panasonic seeing as I bought it on Friday 9/9/05.
 
As posted earlier in this thread, you should call the Rebate Center. There is a Toll Free number on the website where you filed your claim.

Please call them. Since I can't even tell who you are based on your sign in, I am not in a position to help, but you can help yourself by calling them.

Hi everyone. I just received my $300 rebate check today. Postmark says it was sent 9/15. Submitted online on 8/2. Hopefully this will give some people some idea when you can expect yours to arrive.

I was so surprised earlier when I got My Battery and Tapes today. Good Surprise, I got my rebate check a while back, The battery is the same physical size as my DVXuser 5600's.

Three questions,
1. If I purchase my DVX100A from amazon.com will I still be eligible for the rebate?

2. Any chance the rebate date will be extended beyond Oct. 31st?

3. Is the current deadline for rebate purchase date or Shipped Date?

Unlikely, most that have come through there have been gray market.

Since we do not have any inventory, and we want to move the authorized units out of our dealer's warehouse it should continue until all inventory s gone, but it is going quick.

It is your purchase date, but see above note, if it is authroized US product. They are moving through the system fast.

Ok, how about J&R or Full Compass Systems? Are they authorized?

J&R is not authorized. Full Compass is. There's a sticky thread that lists those that are known authorized and those that are known to be non-authorized here on the site...
