AC90: AG-AC90 I keep getting plastic looking skin tones. (Help)

I keep trying to eliminate the problem (mostly indoors) and I can't figure it out. I first had a problem with white balance, but once I was doing this correctly (I wasn't hitting the WB button enough times to get it to input) I was thinking it was my lighting. I had LED panels. For several reason's I dumped my LEDs and I just got Coollight Tungsten lights (1k, 650 and 300watts). The samples are just quick ungraded and they were a quick upload so 480p resolution (but were shot at 1080p). Even playing with FCPX color correction I am still not happy with the results.
1) I diffused them with parchment paper (I just got a Rosco Frost diff today),
2) White balanced,
3) 24fps, 50shutter,
4) Barry's "filmic" scene settings,
5) Checked focus,
6) Iris (I was just able to get to 12db and I was not happy with that). I was hoping for around f2.0 with the 1k at maybe 6' away.
7) Skin tone is set to off
8) Shooting at 1080p (best setting)
9) I shot both Caucasion and Black skin (both look plasticy)

Looks like I was able to answer my own question. Barry's filmic settings drop detail and v-detail -2, that smooths things (skin out). The effect is much more dramatic than I thought it would be. Thanks everyone who puzzled this too.

What did you change it too?

As Barry mentions, his configuration examples are extremes. I find that a notch or two change in settings goes a long way.

I do need to find the time to come up with a scene setting that will work to compensate for the loss of detail I am experiencing when pushing up the iris to shoot low-light indoor sports. I did try a couple of Barry's configs which, out of the box, were too extreme.

It would be perhaps helpful if "We the Users" contributed results of our findings here on the forum.

The problem with that is it becomes a free for all. Most people don't even try them. It's better just to experiment until you come up with your own. It's got a settings combination to probably give you what you want.
